Paul Roger Schick
April 1, 1948 - September 22, 2024
Paul Roger Schick, known to his friends and family as Roger, passed away on
September 22, 2024 at the age of 76 in Broward County, Florida. He is survived by his four
loving daughters, Maria Rodocker (Michael), Aimee Whiteshield, Carrie Schick, and
Julie Wright (Wilkinson). His 9 grandchildren Justin Dunkelberger, Christopher Dunkelberger,
Christina Wright, Cooper Whiteshield, Allyson Wright, Wilkinson DeForest Wright V,
Gavan Whiteshield, Gianna Rodocker, and Niko Rodocker. His sister Mary Shelley (John),
brothers Douglas Schick (Diane) and Gerard Schick. He was preceded in death by his loving
parents Paul Joseph and Loretta Imfeld Schick and his infant daughter
Christine Agnes Schick. Roger was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Roger was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 1, 1948. He attended Monsignor Edward Pace High
School and graduated in 1966. Roger was a loving husband to Nikki (Wasicsko) Schick for 50
years and they raised 4 amazing daughters together. He worked for Eastern Airlines for 20
years until the company ceased operations. He went on to pursue his real estate career and
opened up his own real estate brokerage, Century 21 Flamingo Realty, which was very
successful, along with a mortgage and timeshare resale company. Roger’s love of racehorses
led him to open Horse Whisper Stables, which was home to his many different horses for over
10 years. Bowling was his favorite hobby and of course, he bowled two perfect 300 games.
Roger was a generous man and would not hesitate to help his cherished family and friends. He
will be remembered for his unconditional love, friendship, mentoring, and leadership.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. David’s
Catholic Church, 3900 S University Drive, Davie, Florida 33328. A celebration of life will be held
at 2:00 pm at The Wright Residence, 8300 Pasadena Blvd, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
